With 26 years of legal experience, including 16 years handling lemon law disputes and 10 years handling product liability / personal injury disputes, Sotera Anderson brings a unique and comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by both sides of these cases.
During her career, Sotera has had the privilege of representing both car and product manufacturers and consumers, spending approximately half of her practice advocating for each. This dual perspective allows her to approach mediations with insight into the priorities and pain points on both sides, facilitating fair, efficient, and practical resolutions.

At the Law Offices of Sotera L. Anderson, we bring professional mediation services directly to you—virtually. Our remote mediation solutions allow participants to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently, saving time, travel, and stress. Using either telephonic or secure video conferencing, we provide the same high-quality, results-driven mediation experience, all from the comfort of your home or office.
SCHEDULING YOUR MEDIATION
Below is our availability to conduct remote mediations via Zoom. If you prefer telephonic, please let Sotera know, but both parties must agree to telephonic.
Click on the date to see times available. If a date says “all day”, we can accommodate mediations starting at 9:00am and ending at 5:00pm.

- Name, Firm, Cell Phone, Email for all counsel who should be copied on emails
- Name and Email for all admin staff who should be copied on emails

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MEDIATION ATTENDANCE: We require all litigants and their counsel to be present on the Zoom and that the participants in the mediation have full settlement authority.
FEES: Mediation fees are to be split evenly between the parties unless other arrangements are agreed to in advance.
Starting April 28, 2026, mediation sessions will be scheduled and invoiced as follows:
- 1 case = $800 ($400 minimum session fee + $400 for 1 case) = 2 hour session + follow up
- 2 cases = $800 ($400 per case) = 2 hour session + follow up
- 3 cases = $1,200 ($400 per case) = 3 hour session + follow up
- 4 cases = $1,600 ($400 per case) = 3 hour session + follow up
- 5 cases = $2,000 ($400 per case) = 4 hour session + follow up
- 6 cases = $2,400 ($400 per case) = 4 hour session + follow up
- 7 cases = $2,800 ($400 per case) = 6 hour session + follow up
- 8 cases = $3,200 ($400 per case) = 6 hour session + follow up
- 9 cases = $3,600 ($400 per case) = 8 hour session + follow up
- 10 cases maximum per day = $4,000 ($400 per case) = 8 hour session + follow up
PAYMENT: Invoices are due and payable upon receipt. Our agreement to render services is with the attorney/representative of the parties and payment is and remains the responsibility of the attorney/representative and/or their firms.
CANCELLATION: If the mediation is cancelled 7 days or less from the scheduled mediation date, the mediation fee is non-refundable.
LATE FEES: A $100 late fee will be charged every 30 days post-mediation that the invoice goes unpaid.
NON-PAYMENT: Should Law Offices of Sotera L. Anderson, a PLC, be forced to pursue remedies to collect fees and costs due and owing, the attorney/representative and/or their firm shall be responsible for payment of interest, attorneys fees, and costs incurred in connection with same.
ROLE OF MEDIATOR: The parties agree and understand that the role of the mediator will be that of a neutral mediator. The mediator will assist the litigants, directly or through their counsel, in negotiating their own agreement. The mediator will not act as an attorney or representative of any of the parties or counsel. The mediator’s responsibilities are to facilitate negotiations and discussion of issues. While the mediator will control the mediation process, the mediator does not make decisions for the parties and is not a judge or arbitrator who makes factual or legal determinations regarding responsibility or liability. The litigants agree to rely on the advice of their own counsel in reaching any agreements or settlement of their dispute. The participants are welcome to contact the mediator at any time to discuss any aspect of the mediation.
CONFIDENTIALITY: All communications, negotiations and settlement offers are confidential.
DISCLOSURE OF PRIOR CONTACTS: From August 2007 to March 2017, Sotera Anderson was an attorney at Wilson Turner Kosmo LLP and represented car manufacturers in lemon law and product liability matters. from March 2007 to present, Sotera Anderson has been an attorney at Law Offices of Sotera L. Anderson, a PLC, where share represents consumers in lemon law matters, as well as families in estate planning. From January 2025 to present, Sotera Anderson has served as a mediator in lemon law matters, where she has helped parties facilitate a resolution of their disputes. In scheduling mediation with Sotera Anderson, the parties waive any potential or actual conflict.
